Bluestem hall nature school currently serves students ages 3-8, preschool- first grade.
With a first grade class of students who want to stay and a vibrant staff enthusiastic about growth, the time is now!​​​​
expanded classroom space​
We will redesign our office space and turn this large room with prairie views, skylights, and stunning historic materials into a new classroom for higher grades up to 5th grade.​​​​
this will include: family seating tables, classroom furniture, rugs, library shelving, and classroom equipment in the following categories of study: science, history, math, literacy, social/emotional, conservation, geology, engineering, and wellness
develop new teaching positions​
with the growth of our grades and student body also comes growth for our ability to employ incredible educators! we are proud to be a healthy, dynamic, caring workplace for teachers who jump at the chance to do their work differently- with intuition, joy, slowness, and lots of magic. to add more grades, we will be able to add lead and assistant teaching positions to our community.
support student financial aid​
we never want a family to miss out on the education and community they want due to financial constraints. While we are known for simply "making it work" behind the scenes, donations go directly towards scholarship funding for students seeking financial aid. We feel strongly that the excellent education we offer should be available to all.
